Archana Mehta is the founder and CEO of AM Strategies, Inc. Archana brings her expertise in B2B and B2C communications and client engagements to Citrine Angels. She’s also a strong voice for science-based companies due to her master’s degree in engineering.
Christine Miller-Langemak is a partner at Washington Workplace, where she puts her extensive design career to good use in the commercial furniture industry. Her work has taken her from the bright lights of Hollywood, where she worked on the sets of the films GI Jane and Contact, to the DMV.
Esther Lee, president and CEO of Citrine sponsor Refraction, gives Citrine invaluable insight into innovation and entrepreneurship. Her career has spanned private industry and government, with her role as senior policy adviser to the Secretary of Commerce taking her all the way to the White House.
Joey Schaljo is known for her voiceover talent (learn more on her Web site, A Girl Named Joey), and her clients include everyone from Quaker Oats to Target to Facebook. She has a unique insider’s perspective into many of the fields in which Citrine invests.
Lindsay Kelly is a senior UX researcher at LinkedIn. Passionate about personal investing and women in tech, she brings a fresh perspective to Citrine’s pitch meetings. We also appreciate her commitment to paying it forward to female entrepreneurs!
Lisa Rosenthal is the CEO and owner of Mayvin, She is a highly experienced entrepreneur, philanthropist, venture capitalist, and executive. Her expertise reaches into all aspects of business, from creative problem solving to strategic planning and resource management.
Lisa Conners is the founder of Ever Better Coaching and Consulting. She joined Citrine Angels to be in a community with women who are big thinkers and risk takers. Through Ever Better, she often works with women who are angel investors and entrepreneurs.
Lissette Steele is the founder and managing partner of Verge Scientific Communications, an award-winning brand strategy and communications firm dedicated to working with emerging and pioneering health companies. Her science and communications knowledge gives her a unique perspective on entrepreneurs from both of these angles.
Maria Swainson, managing vice president at Gartner, has worked extensively with SaaS companies. Her expertise also includes AI and cloud technologies. She has been involved with planning, designing, and executing applicable strategies for Fortune 1000, Global 2000, and startup companies.
Mary McLaughlin, formerly a senior vice president at Comcast, now sits on the boards of several organizations, including the University of Maryland Medical Center. Her expertise includes B2B and B2C telecommunications sales, risk mitigation, and construction, which has helped us expand our reach to entrepreneurs in these fields.
Mary Kay Falise is the regional sales manager for Thales. She has been in high-tech sales for over three decades, and her experience includes negotiating large complex deals (very useful when it comes to angel investing!) and working with hard money lending.
Monique Maley is the founder of Articulate Persuasion, where she uses the skills she gained working in theater and film to help strengthen her clients’ leadership skills. She is also the author of Turbulence: Leadership’s Unsexy Solution to Streamline Rapid Growth.
Sarah Moore Johnson is the founding partner at Birchstone Moore LLC, where she specializes in estate planning, business succession planning, and premarital and marital agreements for high net worth individuals and families. In 2022, she was recognized as a Top Estate Attorney by Washingtonian magazine.
Twee Nguyen is a highly experienced IT consultant and the founder of Twee LLC. Before founding her company, she worked at the highest levels of the federal government, including as chief of staff to the Department of Commerce’s chief information officer. She also owns an ice cream and coffee shop in Washington, D.C., and has been recognized for her contributions to the Smithsonian Institution's Vietnamese American exhibit.
